Editorial Policy

This policy explains how Tiền Việt Guide researches, writes, checks, updates, and corrects financial content.

Scope and purpose

We write for beginners who need to understand personal-finance services in Vietnam. Articles must explain eligibility, cost, risk, and limitations in plain language. We do not promise returns or pressure readers into a decision.

Source hierarchy

Official primary sources come first: laws, regulators, fee schedules, terms, reports, and provider notices. Reputable secondary sources may add context but do not replace an available original source. Material figures include a link or named source and an access date.

First-hand verification

When an article describes a user journey, we try to verify it with a real account, device, or screen. Screenshots must hide personal data. If first-hand verification is not possible, the article states that limit and does not present an assumption as fact.

Commercial independence

Advertisers, sponsors, and affiliate partners do not receive approval over editorial conclusions. Sponsored content is labeled, and commission-bearing links carry a clear disclosure and appropriate link attributes. We do not accept payment to remove risks or change a conclusion.

Update schedule

Articles display both the publication date and latest update date. Guides involving fees, eligibility, regulations, or product features are reviewed at least every 90 days and sooner after a known change. Evergreen explainers are reviewed at least every 12 months. Broken links and clear errors are handled when discovered.

Corrections process

Readers may send the URL, disputed passage, and supporting source to [email protected]. We check the report against the original source, correct the content when needed, and update the date. A material change to meaning, figures, or conclusions is noted in the article; minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a separate note.

Pre-publication check

Every article must include sources and dates for figures, an appropriate risk notice, an author-page link, publication and update dates, a preference for official outbound links, and a check that the copy is not personal advice. Articles that fail these conditions are not published.
